Ok, I’ll keep this short and sweet and I’ll say from the outset, I did not tune into actually “watch” that bogus spectacle. I watched the Tucker interview with Trump instead, while monitoring the debate Q and A’s via blogs on different conservative news sites. I wouldn’t give Fox News the satisfaction of counting me as a viewer, because I suspected what the real purpose of the debate was going to be. And midway through it, they proved me right, when they went into January 6th.
The emphasis of this “debate” should have been solely on the most important issues - ones that are actually affecting every day Americans: out of control inflation, out of control wasteful spending, drugs and child trafficking coming across our southern border, hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars being sent to a corrupt country most Americans couldn’t find on a map, a corrupt to the core current POTUS, and his corrupt DOJ covering for him and his crime syndicate. And that same corrupt DOJ busy targeting parents as “domestic terrorists”, and arresting American citizens who who pray outside abortion clinics, or who dare challenge our corrupt government with their first amendment rights.
The Fox “moderators” could have asked the candidates about any of those things, but instead wandered into democrat talking points like abortion rights and what can be done to combat climate change. The first was settled by the SCOTUS in June, and the second is recognized as a complete fraud by anyone with two neurons firing upstairs. Now if the “moderators” would have simply asked: “Do you believe in man-made climate change”, it could have been important, to filter out the bought off political hacks. I personally won’t vote for anyone that doesn’t come out and call that climate garbage what it is - the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world’s citizenry. I’ll give props to Ramaswamy for calling it exactly that.
Then the Fox nimrods spent the second half getting to the REAL point of hosting this pathetic gab fest: “Let’s all pile on Trump”, by relitigating J6. If this “debate” was legit, they instead might have asked the question: “Do you think Joe Biden should be impeached based on the actual evidence uncovered thus far - including witness testimony under oath, actual emails and phone calls, and actual and bank records showing $20 million dollars going into Biden family member accounts?”
No, instead they wrapped up their ridiculous subterfuge with: “Who of you will vote for Trump if he’s convicted of his indictments?” That was it. Their entire two hours was set up to issue that one, single, statement. To put into people’s psyche that Trump is guilty. Because of course he is. And because he dared to call us (Fox News) out for being the frauds that we are. Look, I’m not a Trump surrogate or apologist, but this program was nothing more than a shameful attempt to discredit the man.
I am hoping others will eventually begin to recognize that Fox News is no different than the rest of the corporate media sleaze out there. They have their own agenda and are as patently dishonest as the rest of them. Sure, there was a time back when it first launched that it was a viable alternative to the liberal dreck that monopolized our television channels, news stands, and web pages. Not anymore.
At best, they’re now CNN lite.
